What is unblinding?

After completion of their study participation, participants will be asked to return to the clinic for an “unblinding visit.”  During this visit we will be able to tell participants what pills they were taking during their participation in the study (whether they were taking Truvada, the active medication, or the placebo, the blank pill without active medication).
